Below is a snap shot of the out takes from Cudi’s recent cover story with Complex, he gives a little more insight on the breakdown of his friendship with Wale. Read the out takes in full HERE.
Complex: Where did the whole attitude shift towards Wale stem from?
Kid Cudi: I really don’t understand what’s up with this guy, but he’s just somebody I don’t click with anymore. I started making changes in my life and started to realize positive energy around me, and he never really had a good energy. I never felt like he wanted to see me prosper, it was just one of those niggas that was envious rather than happy for a nigga. I could be reading it wrong, but I’m not making beef and rearranging my life. It’s pretty obvious he feels some type of way about it. I’m not into peer mediation and working things out, I’m just trying to provide for my daughter and my family and making music for my fans. I vibe with certain people and some people I don’t.
Complex: Last September you shot a page for GQ’s Men of the Year issue with him and Drake; was everything cool then?
Kid Cudi: The whole time me and him and Drake were doing the GQ shoot, Wale was bitching and being aggravated that clothes weren’t in his size, just really not cooperating and being difficult, and just being a diva. The photographer was like, “Wale, c’mon, smile a bit” and he was like, “Man, I don’t smile, let these other guys smile.” I was like, what kind of shit is that? In my head I’m thinking, “man, this is GQ. If these niggas want you to smile, smile.” We just got picked for “Men of the Year,” that shit is awesome. It’s wack to be on that shit when you’re at a photo shoot, he shouldn’t be getting all riled up. There was tension throughout the whole shoot. Me and Drake have a rapport, we’re cool. We were automatically hitting it off, and kicking it, and Wale was just not trying to be in the situation. He was trying to be too cool. He was acting like he’s too good for the situation, and that’s how he always is. He always acts like he’s bigger than what he is, and I don’t fuck with that at all.
Complex: Interesting.
Kid Cudi: I always kept quiet when he used to say his little things, say his slick shit in the interview. Even the song we were supposed to do. Man, there was never a song that we were supposed to do. He heard a record and wanted it. It wasn’t meant for him to hear it, some bosses were talking. I just don’t understand how niggas get too big for their britches. I don’t get it. I don’t know it. Even at the GQ shoot he was sending little shots, talking about my skinny jeans, and saying Cudi’s size is “Schmedum,” trying to be funny. But I’m a goofball and a comedian, and was just joking, because he’s harmless to me, I don’t see him as a threat in any way, shape, or form, he’s just someone who has a chip on his shoulder. I have no ill will towards dude, I want to see him prosper, I wish that we could make records—however, I’m not going to feed into the bullshit, and I’m not going to be around people who I don’t feel right around. And when you start going talking about me in records, the silence has to be broken. I have to defend myself and talk about what it really is and show my side. You going to put me in your art, now it’s like you’re thinking about me, and I’m not thinking about you. It’s not like last year; I’m in another place. And if I was to think about reconciling, he’s probably talked so much shit about me, it’s too late to renege on anything. The guy obviously feels type of way. I just got done getting off coke, real problems. Competition? Freshman class? That shit is last year, we ain’t on that. I’m not in any class, I dropped out. I got my GED, I’m good. There’s no more categorizing competition, there’s no competition. I laid my pavement on my own road, and I have my crew of fans that follow, I have my own 104-thousand first week of fans that are right there with me. I’m happy with that. That nigga want to be No. 1, that’s why he has that song ["Number Won"]. Like I like being No. 2, No. 2 never gets old, it’s a solidified spot, No. 1 changes all the time. You always remember that one nigga that’s the ill myth in the underground scene, the nigga that you heard about with classic joints but hasn’t had mainstream success but you respect him as an artist. I’ll be that nigga.

Today we get a first look at the upcoming collaboration between Nike SB and Supreme. Entitled Supreme Nike SB 94, the sneaker is named after the brands’ founding year and will release in November in overall 4 colorways. The Supreme logo appears on the heel and the outer sole. Very soon we should be able to show you some cleaner images of the sneaker.

Lil Wayne's Letter to Fans.
Yesterday, Lil Wayne celebrated his 28th birthday from on Rikers Island. But a few days ago, he wrote a new letter thanking his fans. Check it out below:
What’z poppin!
I hope that you all are well and as always, thank you thank you thank you for the endless love and support. I think by the time you all read this I’ll be 28 years old… feeling ancient in this b#tch! On that note, I do encourage you young people to enjoy your youth. And for the old heads like me, enjoy your life. Everyday!
As for me, I’m good. Awaiting freedom patiently. People often ask does the days feel longer now that the time is getting shorter… I say that there’s 24 hours in everyday. But honestly, I can’t fxckin’ wait! Sorry. Anyway, I’m still playing UNO. Still doing pushups and such, by the way, please don’t expect me to come out looking any different. I’m the same little ‘ol me. Also, I’ve been trying to get as much rest as I can because I know I won’t when I’m out of here. Wait, Aaliyah’s “Let Me Know” just came on the radio! “At your best, you are love”… and I try to always be at my best, for you.
I only listen to slow jams and ESPN. Shoutout to Keith Stewart and Dr. Bob Lee on WBLS, and Lenny Green on KISSfm. That’s all I listen to, other than sports. Oh and if you haven’t heard the new song by Eric Benet, “Sometimes I Cry”, please stop what you’re doing and check it out. Well, after you finish reading this. It’s the best song I’ve heard since Maxwell’s “Woman’s Worth”. It’s for grown folk. I actually listen to the radio all day waiting for that song. Anyway, so back to my fans, you are the best in the world. When reading those letters, you never cease to amaze me with your love. I am forever grateful.
So my kids are perfect. I miss them like crazy! Reginaé, you are the angel of my life. Kam, you are amazing. Neal, you are my little wonderful meatball. And Lil Tunechi Jr., you are so me. City, I am so you! I love my family and I thank them for the support during this time. It’s almost over. To my YMCM family, you are the fxckin’ best! Uhh Nik, I am jealous of you and Drizzy, but it’s cool! Ha ha. I miss you all and keep killin’ ‘em. I love y’all.
To everyone who’s come to visit me. I thank you for that, graciously. It means a lot. Well I’ll end this letter but never my love. MC Hammer Heated At Jay-Z Over "So Appalled" Diss. Goes Hard At Punching Bag To Show What He'll Do To Jigga! [VIDEO]
Jay-Z is the king of subliminal disses. Most of the time, rappers and fans have to dissect his lyrics trying to figure out who he is going at. But Hov obviously wasn't too worried about MC Hammer replying back to his diss on Kanye West's "So Appalled" record, because he mentioned him by name.
“Hammer went broke so you know I'm more focused. I lost 30 mill, so I spent another 30 / ’cause unlike Hammer, 30 mill can’t hurt me.” Jigga spit on the track.
Well, Hammer was listening and he's heated. Replying to Jay, both on Twitter and on film by releasing a video showing him hitting a punching bag
"Warming up... all substance.. no hype... What's the rhyme that can make you tough??? Yeah.. Ok... thats what I thought.. Slap the taste out them #HellBoys mouths... #IamHammer," is written in the video description.
"Hellboy" is the nickname Hammer has given Jay-Z, possibly referring to rumors that Hov is a satanist.
Hammer became famous and wildly popular in the late 80's and early 90's with songs like "U Can't Touch This."
He made millions, and then lost most of it due to bad investments and lavish spending that included a $12 million dollar crib. So that Jigga line has got him feeling like he's gotta fight back....literally.

This one is right down our alley – Thom Browne presents from his Fall/Winter 2010 Collection this Varsity Blazer. The body is made of wool and cashmere, the sleeves come in soft premium leather and the buttons and cuffs are also nicely finished. We almost like it as much as Junya Watanabe’s similar Varsity Blazer from a couple of seasons ago and would have preferred a navy or black body. The light color just makes it too hard to keep clean and spending 3800 Euros on a jacket that is instantly dirty is no fun.

"When Obama called me “jackass”, after the Taylor incident, I thought that the person who taped that wasn’t supposed to tape it. Obama was supposed to be speaking off the record. Obama has way more important stuff to worry about than my public perception. He was trying to pass the healthcare bill.
